Been swapping back and forth between Windows 8 and a bunch of Linux distributions on my touch-screen ultrabook but at the end of the day, Ubuntu is faster, more stable, and more comfortable for me to use. Being that I love Android and Google however, I decided I need to bring some of that Google Now style to my desktop. Components below (instructions in parenthesis):
